Those who can fight for Britain, will fight for Britain

Speaking at a press conference in Downing Street, Prime Minister Gordon Brown said: "We are doing everything in our power to ensure services, road, rail and airports are open as quickly as possible, and we are continuing to monitor this throughout the day."

However Gordon is yet to announce the London Snowball fight.

This event is an idea of James Norris's and very kindly promoted by Techcrunch, Mobile Monday and various other London publications, organisations & groups

  2. Finally somebody who looks at the bright side of snow. Otherwise it is very funny to watch the Brits reaction when they get a tiny snowfall, only 15 cm. of snow, which is virtually nothing, at least not here in Norway, where this comment is written. Simply use a pair of cross country skies and your transport problems will be solved. Or winter tires if you are traveling by car. Proper winter boots, proper winter sweaters, either down duvet, double glazing are things the British should get familiar with. The point is that if on is well prepared(and not too much of a snob and afraid of ones appearance) snow is not a problem. As for the snowball fight, this is an excellent idea, but is the snow compact enough yet in London to make snowballs?
