Given short supplies of snow available on Trafalagar Square, self designated teams guarded snow reserves with their very lives.

Representing the French: @Hippowill, while @adcentered represented the silly hat wearers along with a third nameless warrior. We secured the snow reserves on the eastern side of the National Gallery and targeted people on top of the stairs with long range snowballs.

Our Italian opponents conducted successful infiltration operations to carry away giant packs of snow from our reserves to re-supply the bunch of people on top of the steps.

The battle lasted until about 7pm. The British will have to come in larger numbers next time if they want revenge!

Fun!

Willem aka @Hippowill
Luis aka @adcentered
Who was our ally, please make yourself known!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04984500188575237413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8955690654780970432.post-43802283355464193892009-02-02T09:11:00.000-08:002009-02-02T09:11:00.000-08:00UK Resident living in Italy who would love to be t...UK Resident living in Italy who would love to be throwing the odd snowball in Trafalgar Sq tonight comooooonnnnnUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14675103985911158099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8955690654780970432.post-42992081219889175052009-02-02T08:05:00.000-08:002009-02-02T08:05:00.000-08:00Finally somebody who looks at the bright side of s...Finally somebody who looks at the bright side of snow. Otherwise it is very funny to watch the Brits reaction when they get a tiny snowfall, only 15 cm. of snow, which is virtually nothing, at least not here in Norway, where this comment is written. Simply use a pair of cross country skies and your transport problems will be solved. Or winter tires if you are traveling by car. Proper winter boots, proper winter sweaters, either down duvet, double glazing are things the British should get familiar with. The point is that if on is well prepared(and not too much of a snob and afraid of ones appearance) snow is not a problem. As for the snowball fight, this is an excellent idea, but is the snow compact enough yet in London to make snowballs?
L.
